For Mick Unplugged, host Mick Hunt and his team provide raw footage recorded either virtually via Riverside or in-studio via Dropbox. My role is to take that raw material and transform it into engaging, high-quality podcast content ready for distribution.
I handle the full post-production process, including editing the complete episodes and crafting teaser-style intros that hook viewers from the first few seconds. The show already had a stock video intro in place, which we continue to use for brand consistency, while I designed and produced a custom outro to give each episode a polished and cohesive finish.
The final result is a clean, professional podcast experience that maintains the show’s identity while elevating its overall visual flow and viewer engagement.

When episodes are recorded via Riverside, speakers are often automatically framed at different heights and positioned at varying distances from the camera. I manually adjust framing for each speaker, balance their on-screen presence, and level the footage to ensure visual consistency.
I then switch camera angles dynamically to create a multicam-style viewing experience, while carefully editing and polishing both audio and video for clarity and flow. To increase viewer engagement, I also add a subtle bottom scroll to highlight key moments and talking points.
